To be able to have a good health, we need to take foods that are nutritious and good in our body. We must follow the Food Pyramid and the Three Basic Food Groups: the GO, GROW, and GLOW. We need to follow this group of foods so that we become HEALTHY.
This year 2009 in this month of July, we are celebrating the NUTRITION MONTH. " WASTONG NUTRITION KAILANGAN, LIFESTYLE DISEASES IWASAN, " this is the theme for this month's celebration. We must eat nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables to prevent or avoid Lifestyle Diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart diseases. Eat nutritious foods so that we can get vitamins, and minerals that our body need's. We can get Vitamin C in Citrus Fruits, and the other vitamins that we can also get in nutritious foods are Vitamin A, B, E and the minerals like carbohydrates, iron, iodine, zinc. This are used to strengthen our body and our immune system.
